Personal Experience
Bio: I started working at Left Coast Logistics in February 2017 as a Sr. Account Manager. I have over 36 years of working in the transportation/logistics field. My primary responsibilities are overseeing all aspects of lumber loads which includes everything from building professional relationships, providing fair and reasonable rates all with exceptional hands-on white glove customer service. I work directly with customers, truck drivers, and lumber mills, securing the required equipment, and providing load tracing/tracking from pickup to delivery.
Past experiences include working with LTL, rail, hazardous tankers, and full truckload shipments. As a result of my extensive background, I can help my clients solve all their logistical needs.
I was born and raised in OR but now live and work in the beautiful state of Florida. I like to consider myself one part West Coast and one part East Coast. Living on the East Coast now brings you East and West Coast experience and everything in between.
What I like most about my job is being able to pursue both my personal goals and professional passions with equal gusto – honestly, I think it makes me a better person.
I wholeheartedly believe in what our mission statement says: “Our vision is not to become the largest in our industry. It is simply to be the best at providing the highest level of customer satisfaction in the industry while delivering solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations. We do good when we make you look great!”
Things I enjoy outside of work: Outside of work, I recharge by spending time with my husband (Bill) where you’ll probably find us in the yard gardening or playing and getting lots of exercise with our German shepherd “Kimber”. I have two sons; my oldest son and daughter-in-law live in OR where they own a small landscaping business. I don’t get to see them as often as I want (or need), and my youngest son lives in Indiana pursuing his nursing degree.
We recently bought kayaks, so we are going to be taking advantage of the many beautiful springs Florida has to offer. I’m still afraid of alligators but I’m told if I leave them alone then they will leave me alone, still, I don’t want to be their lunch!
